The driver-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/1) is connected to the Controller Area Network Bus class B (interior) (CAN-B) to exchange data and performs the following tasks:

- front up/down motor (M27m3)

Steering column adjustment motor group (M20) with
- motor longitudinal adjustment fore and aft (M20m1)
- height adjustment motor up and down (M20m2)
