The concept is a mechanical 5-speed manual transmission (1), designed as an overdrive, with integrated axle differential installed transverse to the direction of travel. The final speed is reached in 5th gear.

All the forwards gears are synchronized, 1st and 2nd gear with double cone synchromesh, 3rd, 4th and 5th gear with single cone synchromesh. Reverse gear is not synchronized.

All the gear wheels are helically geared. The integrated axle differential is driven according to the "spur gear principle", the direction of the drive force is not changed as a result. The shift commands are introduced into the transmission via a manual transmission (remote) shift. The shift commands are transmitted from the shift lever unit (4) to the transmission (1) via 2 control cables (2, 3).
