K1 Overvoltage protection relay
K40 Relay module
N3/8 DFI [EVE] control module
Y23/2 Distributor pump
Y23/2y1 Shut-off valve
Task
To maintain the connection to circuit 30 by briefly switching control of ground from the DFI control module to the overvoltage protection relay (K1) in model 202 or to the relay module (K40) in model 210
Function
A voltage drop at the DFI [EVE] control module (N3/8), circuit 15, causes control to be briefly (approximately 4 seconds) switched from the DFI [EVE] control module (N3/8) via the HRL circuit to the overvoltage protection relay (K1) or the relay module (K40).In this way, power continues to be supplied to the DFI [EVE] control module (N3/8) after the engine has been shut down. When the engine is off, the DFI [EVE] control module (N3/8) automatically de-energizes the overvoltage protection relay (K1) or relay module (K40) and power supply is interrupted. This procedure serves to check the operation of the shut-off valve (Y23/2y1) and, in the event of a system malfunction, to shut down the engine via the quantity control unit (by moving the distributor shaft to the "zero delivery" position)
