Since the beginning of 2016 an altered gearwheel drive will be installed in the heavy engine series (470.9, 471.9, 473.9). From engine end number 206647 a new special tool, the red template (3), must be used to adjust ignition TDC on cylinder 1. A recognition feature of the change is the new pulse wheel (4) with small segments (arrows).
