1 Screw fuel metering pump (M16) to free hole in longitudinal frame member in area of vehicle fuel tank with rubber coated clamp.
If the mounting hole selected on the longitudinal frame member is too large use body washers.
2 Connect flexible fuel line to intake side (2) of fuel metering pump with connection hose and cut off fuel intake line at line connection of fuel tap.
To avoid pinching the flexible fuel lines always cut lines with saw.
3 Connect flexible fuel line to fuel supply line for heater with connection hose on pressure side (3) of fuel metering pump.
4 Connect connector (1) of wiring harness (4) to fuel metering pump.
5 Route fuel supply line and wiring harness forward to left cab mount in right longitudinal frame member.
Tie fuel line and wiring harness to present lines or wiring harnesses. Avoid kinks and chafing points, if necessary install chafe guard.

6 Route fuel intake line to tank tap.
Tie fuel intake line to fuel lines for vehicle engine with cable straps. Avoid chafing points, if necessary install chafe guard.
7 Cut off fuel intake line (3) at connector (8) on tank tap.
8 Connect ring fitting (7) to fuel intake line with connection hose (4).
9 Screw fuel intake line onto connection fitting (8) with hollow bolt (5) and sealing rings (6).
