1 Fit assembly plate (1) to front end floor and screw down

2 Install angled bracket (9) on exhaust muffler (6).
3 Cut exhaust gas outlet line (7) with termination sleeve (8) to a length of 100 mm and install on the exhaust muffler.

4 Install water heater (2) on assembly plate (1) with universal bracket (3)
Guide the prefabricated exhaust line and combustion air intake line through the openings in the front end floor downwards out of the engine compartment,
Insert thread of rubber mounts on universal bracket into the holes in the assembly plate and screw down universal bracket.

5 Install exhaust muffler (6) in the exhaust gas line (4).
6 Install exhaust muffler with prefabricated angled bracket on the longitudinal frame member
Use the free threaded bolt on the frame longitudinal member for installing the exhaust muffler. Check outlet direction of the exhaust gas. The hot exhaust gas flow must not be directed at components, if necessary change the position of the outlet by bending the exhaust gas outlet line.

7 Install combustion air intake line (5) on the reinforcement panel (arrow) of the front frame cross bracing and tie onto the front end floor using a tie strap.
Use free threaded bolt on reinforcement panel for attaching the combustion air intake line. Pay attention to adequate clearance, particularly in the area of openings, between the exhaust gas line and combustion air intake line.
