3.1 | Release catch hooks (3) at front passenger front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/2) using suitable pliers and place front passenger front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/2) with bracket to one side | Only when removing the left front WSS (Weight Sensing System) sensor (B48/11) or the right front WSS (Weight Sensing System) sensor (B48/12) for vehicles with code (242) Electrically adjustable front passenger seat with memory. | |
4 | Expose wiring harness (4) of relevant WSS (Weight Sensing System) sensor (B48/11, B48/12, B48/13 or B48/14) and disconnect electrical connector from WSS control unit | Observe installation position of wiring harness (4) | |
5 | Remove nut (5) from WSS (Weight Sensing System) sensor (B48/11, B48/12, B48/13 or B48/14) | Counterhold bolt (6). | |

7 | Remove bolts (7) and remove WSS (Weight Sensing System) sensor (B48/11, B48/12, B48/13 or B48/14) together with bracket (8) | Do not remove WSS (Weight Sensing System) sensor (B48/11, B48/12, B48/13 or B48/14) from bracket (8), otherwise its proper function can no longer be guaranteed. | |
Installation: The WSS (Weight Sensing System) sensor (B48/11, B48/12, B48/13 or B48/14) may only be replaced together with bolt (6), otherwise its proper function can no longer be guaranteed. | |||
Replace bolts (7). | |||
