2 | Remove rear seat cushion | Do not remove rear seat covering from rear seat cushion | |
3 | Remove curtain from front of rear seat | ||
4 | Detach cover (4) from vertical adjustment handle (5) | ||
5 | Unscrew bolt (3) and detach vertical adjustment handle (5) from rear seat cushion frame | Press unlocking device and pull vertical adjustment handle forwards. Observe installed position of spring! | |
6 | Unhook vertical adjustment cable (7) at | Risk of breakage! Clip (6) is concealed behind adhesive tape. Installation: Stick on adhesive tape again | |
7 | Unhook vertical adjustment cable from vertical adjustment handle (5) | ||
8 | Remove rubber bands (8) | ||
9 | Unhook horizontal adjustment cable and vertical adjustment cable from clip (17) | Risk of breakage! | |
10.1 | Detach cover (16) from rear seat support | Only with 3rd seat row, code 847. | |
11 | Unhook horizontal adjustment cable and vertical adjustment cable from rear seat support | ||
12 | Remove paneling of horizontal adjustment handle | Risk of breakage! Unscrew screw and press paneling for horizontal adjustment handle forwards in order to unhook the retaining lugs. | |
13 | Unscrew screws (1) from horizontal adjustment handle (2) | ||
14 | Unhook horizontal adjustment cable from horizontal adjustment adjustment | Pull out horizontal adjustment handle. | |
15 | Remove horizontal adjustment cable and vertical adjustment cable | ||
16 | Install in the reverse order | Ensure that horizontal adjustment cable and vertical adjustment cable are routed correctly. |
