Disconnect ground lead from battery

Do not interrupt main battery current in heater mode or in the run-on phase.

Danger!

Risk of injury caused by body parts being jammed and crushed when tilting cab

Ensure that no one is within the tilting range of the cab during tilting. Always tilt the cab all the way to the end position and secure with the safety strut.

Remove burner housing (1) with burner tube (2) from heat exchanger (4)

If burner housing sticks

Place screwdriver in groove (arrow A).

Unscrew screws (5) from burner housing

Remove burner tube with gasket (6)

Guide burner tube out of burner housing with tilting movements (direction of arrow) until the fuel line (9) has been pulled out of both line grommets (10).

Installation:
Guide burner tube into burner housing with fuel line attached (tension-free). Do not bend fuel line.

Remove the gasket

Installation:

The burner tube has projections (11) for the seal recesses (12).

Release cotton felt ring (7) from the journals (8) in the seat and remove

Installation:

Only touch new cotton felt ring at aluminum seat ring and carefully insert.

Install in the reverse order

Danger!

Risk of explosion caused by fuel vapors igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling combustible gases and risk of injury caused by burns during and after operation of heater unit

Do not operate stationary heater, auxiliary heater or engine with heater booster in closed areas or when refueling. Allow heater unit to cool down after operation and wear protective gloves.
