Danger! | Risk of explosion caused by fuel vapors igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling combustible gases and risk of injury caused by burns during and after operation of heater unit | Do not operate stationary heater, auxiliary heater or engine with heater booster in closed areas or when refueling. Allow heater unit to cool down after operation or wear protective gloves. |

Observe operating instructions of the CO2 tester.
1 Operate stationary heater or heater booster.
2 Swivel CO2 tester vertically through 180o.
The protective cap of the valve must point downwards and the measuring fluid must run once completely through the equipment cavity.
This has to be carried out before any measurement.

3 Move the CO2 tester into the design position again (with the valve upwards (arrow) and allow the measuring fluid to run back completely..
4 Remove the protective cap from the valve (arrow) and press the valve several times for venting.

5 Position CO2 tester vertically in the area of the exhaust gas outlet and adjust the 0 point on the scale to the level of the measuring fluid.
6 Insert emission sensor in the exhaust gas outlet.
7 Let heater of stationary heater or heater booster run under full load.
8 Press the rubber coupling piece of the emission sensor firmly on the valve of the CO2 tester and keep depressed throughout the entire measuring process.
Due to the pressure, the valve is pressed down at the same time and therefore the entrance to the measuring fluid is opened.
9 Operate the rubber bellows of the emission sensor 18 times with the free hand.
10 Rapidly relieve rubber coupling piece and thus the valve.
To prevent the gas specimen taken from escaping from the CO2 tester.
11 Swivel the CO2 tester through 180o for a total of four times in succession.
The measuring fluid must run completely through the equipment cavity once in each case.
12 Position the CO2 tester vertically (valve upwards).
13 Read off CO2 level in percent by volume from the display scale and compare to the specified values.
After the measuring fluid has settled.
14 Adjust CO2 level in exhaust if necessary.

15 Switch off stationary heater or heater booster.
16 Remove emission sensor from CO2 tester and bleed the CO2 tester by pressing the valve (arrow) several times. Then fit the protective cap to the valve (arrow).
Perform at the end of each measuring process.
