Risk of explosion caused by fuel vapors igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling combustible gases and risk of injury caused by burns during and after operation of heater unit

Do not operate stationary heater, auxiliary heater or engine with heater booster in closed areas or when refueling. Allow heater unit to cool down after operation and wear protective gloves.

Pinch off coolant hoses (1, 2)

Detach electrical connector (4) from circulation pump (3)

Danger!

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage bottles.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection.

Detach coolant hoses (1, 2) from circulation pump connecting pipes

Collect escaping coolant in a clean vessel.

Installation: After installing the air circulation pump, pour any escaped coolant back into the coolant and heating circuit.

Unscrew nuts (5).

Remove circulation pump (3) from heater bracket

Install in the reverse order

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns when working in engine during starting procedure

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving off by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.

Start engine and bleed cooling and heating system.

Allow engine to warm up for approx.
1 minute at varying rpm.

Switch off engine

Check coolant, top up if necessary

Check coolant hoses connected to circulation pump for leaks

Check function of auxiliary heater

Remove/install coolant circulation pump
