1 | Remove heater | ||
2 | Unscrew bolt (3) and remove cover (2) with gasket (1) | Installation: Check gasket (1) for damage and replace if necessary. | |
3 | Unlock 14-pin plug (11) and disconnect from auxiliary heater control unit (10) | ||
4 | Detach connection lines from the glow plug (7) | ||
5 | Detach air outlet (15) from casing housing | ||
6 | Unlock and remove air intake grill (9) | ||
7 | Detach upper casing half (5) from lower casing half (8). | Drive through drift of body-bound rivets (4) using a suitable tool and lever out rivet using the blade of a knife. | |
8 | Disconnect plug (12) of flame sensor from auxiliary heater control unit (10) | Installation: Observe accurate cable routing. | |
9 | Remove retaining spring (13) of flame sensor (14) | Installation: Replace retaining spring (13). Push on retaining spring using a suitable tool (arrows). | |
10 | Remove flame sensor (14) | ||
11 | Install in the reverse order |
