1 | Remove handle strip of sliding door | ||
2 | Remove sliding door | ||
3 | Remove inside door opener | ||
4 | Expose bolts of insulation element (2) and unscrew | Remove sealing compound on bolt heads. | |
5 | Separate edge sealing between insulation element (2) and sliding door (1) all-round | ||
6 | Detach insulation element from sliding door (1) | Do not damage insulation foam on rear of insulation element. Carefully separate adhesive points in area of bolt holes. | |
7 | Remove residue adhesive on sliding door and on insulation element | ||
| Install | ||
8 | Apply walnut sized sealing compound dots to the rear of the insulation element in the area of the bolt holes | The sealing compound dots serve as adhesive points. | |
9 | Apply insulation element (2) to sliding door (1) and tighten | ||
10 | Cover up bolt heads using sealing compound | ||
11 | Apply sealing compound to gap between sliding door and insulation element all round | ||
12 | Install inside door opener | | |
13 | Install sliding door | ||
14 | Install sliding door handle strip | ||
