Risk of explosion caused by welding or soldering work on closed air conditioning system. Risk of poisoning caused by inhaling overheated refrigerant vapors. Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by contact with liquid refrigerant.

Never perform welding work on or near a closed air conditioning system. No smoking or open flames. Wear safety glasses and protective gloves. Work only in well ventilated areas. Carry out repair work on the air conditioning system circuit only after the system has been drained.

Evacuate air conditioning system; perform leak test

Charge air conditioning system with refrigerant

 Only fill the specified total filling quantity via the test and filling valve, pressure side (3).
Observe operating instructions for air conditioning system vacuum and recycling unit.

Unscrew shutoff valve, pressure side (2) and shutoff valve, intake side (5) up to end stop

 By unscrewing the shutoff valve, pressure side (2) and the shutoff valve, intake side (5), the test and filling valve, pressure side (3) and test and filling valve, intake side (4) are closed.

Tighten cover caps on shutoff valve, pressure side (2) and shutoff valve, intake side (5)

Switch off air conditioning vacuum and recycling unit

Remove pressure and suction line of air conditioning vacuum and recycling unit from test and filling valve, pressure side (3) and test and filling valve, intake side (4)

Close electromagnetic shutoff valve

Only if the electromagnetic shutoff valve has been opened with the aid of a magnet.

Remove electric line for energization of electromagnetic shutoff valve

Only if the electromagnetic shutoff valve has been opened by energization.
