Remove/install

Danger!

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage bottles.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection.

Remove heater unit

Remove lower part of heater housing

Remove air baffle in heater housing

Remove heating water pipes (1, 2) from regulating valve (3)

Check hose connections for damage, replace if necessary.

Unscrew heating water pipe (1) from heat exchanger (4)

Unscrew two bolts (arrows) on each side of the heat exchanger

The bolts are concealed by a sound-insulating mat. If necessary, feel for the bolt heads.

Pull out heat exchanger (4)

Do not damage the sound-insulating mats inside the heater housing.

Install in the reverse order
