Always remove ignition key when working on windshield wiper mechanism.

Remove service grill on the right

Remove air inlet

Disconnect plug (4) from the lamp unit (E1, E2)

Pay attention to locking lugs.

Unscrew bolt (1)

Mark installation position of lamp unit (E1, E2)

Only if lamp unit (E1, E2) is not replaced.

Unscrew screws (2, 3)

Remove lamp unit (E1, E2)

Install

Insert and position lamp unit (E1, E2)

Align with marking if necessary.

Tighten screws (3)

If it is not possible to tighten the bolts (3), the fixing adapters on the carrier are to be removed/installed in accordance with the following information. Refer to:

Remove fixing adapter on headlamp.

Tighten screw (2)

The washer of the bolt (2) and embossing (arrow) must coincide.

Insert CBS Front and check positioning

Pay attention to even distance of CBS Front to lamp unit.

CBS Front must not contact the lamp unit (E1, E2).

If adjustment is required, note the correction distances.

Remove CBS Front

Adjust lamp unit (E1, E2) if necessary.

Tighten bolt (1)

Connect plug (4) to the lamp unit (E1, E2)

Pay attention to the plug locking in position.

Adjust lamp unit (E1, E2)

Check and correct headlamp adjustment
