Adjust

Remove locking eye (2)

 Markings are present on the locking eye (2) and on the C-pillar for positioning and precise adjustment of the locking eye (2) horizontally and vertically. Note or mark position of locking eye (2) to facilitate installation.

Open front door

Loosen bolts on B-pillar (3) and adjust corresponding gaps by moving rear
door (1).

 Adjust rear door (1) carefully, other paint damage can occur on the rear door (1) and rear fender.

Tighten bolts on B-pillar (3)



Loosen bolts on inner door panel (4) and adjust transition between front door (1) and rear door (1) by moving rear door (1).

 The contour of the front door should be flush with the contour of the rear door (1) or should not extend more than 1 mm.

Tighten inner door panel screws (4)



Insert locking eye (2) and screw in bolts (5) to stop

 It should still be possible to move the locking eye (2).

Adjust transition between rear door (1) and rear fender, roof paneling and rear side window by moving locking eye (2)

 The contour of the rear door (1) should be flush with the contours of the rear fender, the roof paneling and the rear side window or should not extend more than
1 mm.

Screw bolts (5) tight



Repair paint damage on bolts heads on B-pillar (3) and bolts on inner door panel (4) with touch-up paint pen.
