Detach upper paneling on B-pillars

Remove partition

Remove edge guard in area of roof paneling (1) from body

Move backrest in driver seat and passenger seat down as far as possible

Detach headliner (1) from roof frame and lower


Helper required! Carefully handle headliner (1), do not kink and lay down on clean base!
Otherwise damage and soiling can occur.

 Unclip retaining frame (3) on front overhead control panel on roof frame and detach headliner (1) at front, rear and center from roof frame. Headliner (1) is held by magnets.

Remove headliner (1) toward rear from vehicle



Check

Check headliner (1)

 Check whether all magnets are present on headliner (1). If loose magnets are present, remove old glue residues. Glue magnets to present positions on headliner (1).

Fasten electrical wiring harness to headliner (1) with adhesive tape

Only when replacing headliner (1) or electrical wiring harness.
