1 | Remove vertical strut paneling | ||

3 | Unscrew bolts (4) from instrument panel lower section (1) | ||
4 | Remove paneling at side of instrument panel | ||
5 | Unscrew bolts (2, 5) from instrument panel lower section (1). | ||
6 | Carefully pull lower area of instrument panel lower section (1) in direction of arrow (arrow A). | Instrument panel lower section (1) should not be under tension. | |
7 | Guide wiring harness (3) through opening in instrument panel bottom (1) and remove instrument panel lower section (1) upward in direction of arrow (arrows B). | Installation: Insert instrument panel bottom (1) correctly into guide rails (arrows C) on driver-side paneling (6) and passenger-side paneling (7). | |
8 | Remove retaining clamps on instrument panel lower section (1) | When replacing instrument panel lower section (1). | |
Four retaining clamps are fastened to the instrument panel lower section (1). | |||
