Warning

Pour AdBlue into suitable containers only. Wait until the pressure is released before starting any work on the exhaust aftertreatment system.

Remove

Detach dust cap from valve (1).

Only if a dust cap is installed on the valve (1).

Pump module pressure reservoir modified

BT14.40-W-0003-01A

Press in valve (1) and keep pressed until the pressure reservoir (2) is completely emptied.

Remove housing cover (3) with pressure reservoir (2).

Clean

Clean housing cover (3) with pressure reservoir (2) and clean pressure reservoir housing (4) with a lint-free dry cloth.

Clean contact surfaces of the O-ring (5) with a lint-free dry cloth.

Install

Install valve cap in a new version.

Only if a dust cap was installed on the valve (1).

Pump module pressure reservoir modified

The new valve cap has an internal seal and is installed without a dust cap.

Check housing cover (3) with the pressure reservoir (2) and check pressure reservoir housing (4) for damage.

If a complaint has been submitted,

replace housing cover (3) with the pressure reservoir (2) and pressure reservoir housing (4).

Install new O-ring (5) and coat thinly with grease.


Use only prescribed grease and apply only very thinly.
Damage can occur on the EATS otherwise.

Install housing cover (3) with pressure reservoir (2).

Charge pressure reservoir (2) with compressed air.
