4 | Unscrew the fuel filter housing cover (10) | When unscrewing the cover (10), the fuel will flow to the reservoir, through the return pipe. | |
Installation: Check the O-ring (11) and replace it, if required. | |||

5 | Disconnect the fuel pump (5) pipe (8) | Collect the fuel. | |
Installation: Replace the sealing rings (7). | |||

6 | Unscrew the bolts (4) and remove the fuel pump (5) | Collect the fuel. | |
Attach the fuel pump to the camshaft so that the trailing pin on the camshaft fits the pump carrier perfectly. | |||

Act on the handle of the hand primer pump until strong resistance is observed. | |||

Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. | Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. | |
9 | Run the motor and check the fuel system tightness | Do not crank the engine continuously for more than 30 seconds. | |
10 | Stop the engine |
