Risk of injury to skin or eyes caused by hydraulic fluid spraying out under high pressure. Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing hydraulic fluid

Depressurize the hydraulic system completely before starting any work on the system. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses.

Before opening the hydraulic system, thoroughly clean the area surrounding the separation point. Even the smallest dirt particles, introduced into the hydraulic components, can lead to malfunctions and a total failure of the hydraulic system

Open engine hood

Remove poly-V belt

Extract oil from expansion reservoir of power steering pump (30)



Remove bolt (1)



Disconnect tie strap (2) and remove heat shield (3) from expansion reservoir of power steering pump (30)

Detach high pressure expansion hose (30i) from power steering pump (30)

 Seal connections with stop plugs.

 Installation: Replace sealing ring.



Loosen clamp (4) and detach hydraulic line (30f) from expansion reservoir of power steering pump (30)

 Seal connections with stop plugs. Check clamp (4) and hydraulic line (30f) for condition, replace if necessary.



Remove bolts (5) and remove power steering pump (30)



Install in the reverse order

Fill and bleed power steering pump (30)
