Drive vehicle to alignment check bay

 The chassis alignment must be carried out on a horizontal, level and clean base.

An alignment check bay with a workshop pit is a substantial advantage.

Check prerequisites for chassis alignment

 Check prerequisites for chassis alignment at the front axle only.

Position vehicle on turnplates

Place front wheels in straight-ahead position

 If the front wheels are in the straight-ahead position, adjust the scale of the turnplates to "0" if necessary.

Check wheel angle of the left wheel

 If the measured value is not within the specified tolerance, the wheel angle must be adjusted.



Check pressure reduction valves and adjust if necessary

 Only carry out:

 If the steering assistance is inadequate.

 If the wheel angle at the front axle had to be adjusted.
