5 Transmission

 	Remove/install
1.1	Secure the vehicle on the lifting platform	On vehicles with transmission 722.8	AR00.60-P-0100AK
2	Raise vehicle with lifting platform		AR00.60-P-1000AK
3	Unscrew bolts (3) and remove heat shield (4)
4.1	Attach engine hoist to transmission (5) using a suitable lifting platform and carefully press crank engine-transmission assembly upwards	On vehicles with transmission 722.8
		 Use a suitable underlay when raising the engine-transmission assembly with the engine hoist, otherwise risk of damaging the transmission.
		 Only push the engine-transmission assembly upwards until the engine mounts are relieved of load.

5	Unscrew bolts (2) and remove heat shield (1)	 The heat shield (1) is attached with 3 bolts (2). Pull heat shield (1) to the right over the bolt support (arrow), let it project at the bolt support (arrow) and remove.

6	Install in the reverse order
