| The sealing surfaces (A, B) must be clean, dry and free of grease.
Leaks can occur otherwise.

| Apply sealing compound evenly on the sealing surfaces (A, B) on the housing of the hydrodynamic retarder (5) before attaching the heat exchanger.

| Seal the gap (C) between the heat exchanger (3) and the housing of the hydrodynamic retarder (5) after attaching the heat exchanger (3).
