Risk of skin or eye injury caused by high-pressure spills of the retarder's oil | Only carry out works with the retarder disconnected. When working while the retarder is still too hot, use protective gloves, clothing and glasses. | |
1 | Place the auxiliary brake control lever in the position "0" | ||
2 | Turn off the ignition | ||
3 | Remove the cover over the gear box | Only in semi-tow vehicles. | |
4 | Remove the cable clamps (2) | ||
5 | Remove the compressed air piping connection (1) from the valve block (Y114) | Only “VOSS 232" compressed air connections must be used in the valve block (Y114). | |
6 | Remove the electric connector (3) | ||
7 | Remove the valve block (Y114) | Install: Clean the sealing surface, replace the O-Ring (4) and the molded joint (5). | |
