1 | Secure vehicle against rolling | ||
2 | Depressurize air brake system | Pull vent valve on compressed-air reservoir. | |
3 | Clean connections of compressed-air lines (2, 3) | ||
4 | Mark compressed-air lines (2, 3) | ||
5 | Remove cable ties (6), and detach electrical connector (7) | Installation: Replace the cable ties (6). | |
6 | Unscrew banjo bolt (4) and remove compressed-air line (2) | Seal connection of compressed air line (2) using suitable plugs. | |
Installation: Replace sealing rings. Note marking of compressed air line (2). | |||

7 | Unscrew banjo bolt (5) and remove compressed-air line (3) | Seal connection of compressed air line (3) using suitable plugs. | |
Installation: Replace sealing rings. Note marking of compressed air line (3). | |||

8 | Unscrew nuts (8) on vehicle frame (9) and remove 3/2-directional control valve (1) | | |
9 | Install in the reverse order | ||

10 | Charge air brake system | Allow the engine to run until the operating pressure of the air brake system is reached. | |
If the pressure regulator fails to stop filling the air brake system after reaching the operating pressure: | |||
Check shutoff pressure of pressure regulator, adjust if necessary. |
