2 Sealing ring

3 Banjo bolt

4 Compressed-air line

5 Rear ABS control valve connector

6 Bolt

7 Connection fitting

8 Nut

Remove/install

Secure vehicle against rolling

Depressurize air brake system

Pull vent valve on compressed-air reservoir.

Clean connection of compressed-air line (4)

Detach rear ABS control valve connector
(5)

Disconnect compressed-air line (4) from rear ABS control valve (1)

Installation: Install new sealing rings (2).

Detach rear ABS control valve (1) from vehicle frame

Detach rear ABS control valve (1) from connection fitting (7)

Seal connection of compressed air line (4) and connection fitting (7) of shuttle valve

To prevent dirt ingress.

Install in the reverse order

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Charge air brake system

Allow the engine to run until the operating pressure of the air brake system is reached.

If the pressure regulator fails to stop filling the air brake system after reaching the operating pressure:

Check shutoff pressure of pressure regulator, adjust if necessary.
