1 | Remove center console | ||
2 | Unclip cover (5) | ||
3 | Unscrew adjusting nut (3) up to end of thread and fully lower parking brake lever (4) | ||
The thread must fit flush with the adjusting nut (3). | |||
Installation: Adjust parking brake. | |||
4 | Unclip retainer (6) from rocker (7) | ||
5 | Unhook left brake cable (1) or right brake cable (2) from rocker (7) | ||
6 | Remove corresponding brake shoes | ||
7 | Unhook rubber grommet (10) from bracket on axle tube (11) | ||
8 | Pull left brake cable (1) or right brake cable (2) from corresponding guide tube (8, 9) | ||
9 | Push catch hooks (arrows) together and route the left brake cable(1) or the right brake cable (2) out of the brake cover plate (12) | ||
10 | Pull left brake cable (1) or right brake cable (2) out of guides (13, 14) | ||
11 | Install in the reverse order | ||

12 | Carry out brake test on the test stand | ||
