Lethal injuries are possible if vehicle slips off of lifting platform

Align vehicle between the columns of the hydraulic hoist and position the four support plates below the hoist support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Detach brake cable (85) from tensioning shackle at parking brake pedal (75) using snap-release tool (043)

 The brake cable (85) can also be removed by breaking the clamping ring (84). To install, insert a new clamping ring (84) in the groove in the brake cable (85).Pay attention to the rubber grommet (85b).

Unscrew bolts (72) and take off pedal assembly (71)

On vehicles with nut welded on at front wall pillar.

 Model 210: The pedal assembly (71) is fixed with two bolts.



Unscrew upper bolts (72), loosen lower bolt (72) several turns and detach pedal assembly (71)

On vehicles with nut pressed into front wall pillar.

 The pressed in nut can fall into the front wall pillar if the lower bolt (72) is unscrewed.

Unplug connector at parking brake indicator switch (S12)

 Raise pedal assembly (71) slightly to do this.

Detach cable (79) from release lever (77)

Detach cable (7) from pedal assembly (71) using tool (010).



Remove pedal assembly (71)

 Do not loosen torx bolts on back of pedal assembly (71) otherwise the pedal assembly (71) will be damaged beyond repair.


