Loosen the spring relief screw of the parking brake combined cylinder

 Maintain the working pressure in the system to loose the combined cylinder relief screw.

Remove the bolt (4) and remove the brake wear sensor (7)

Spin the brake camshaft (11) and the brake adjuster (10) by means of the adjustment screw (12)

 Spin the adjustment screw (12) on counterclockwise direction.

Remove the brake drum

Remove screw (8) from command arm (9)

Remove the cotter pin (3), the washer (2) and the pin (1).

Remove brake adjuster (10) and the shim

 The shim is located between the brake adjuster (10) and the bearing stand.

 Open the brake shoes (14) with the appropriate assembly pin (13) and remove the camshaft (11) with the brake adjuster (10).



Install

Install the brake adjuster (10) with the camshaft (11) up to stop (arrow)

 Install the shim between the brake adjuster (10) and the bearing stand.

Install the pin (1)

 Pin (1) should be inserted tension-free.

Install the washer (2) and lock the pin (1) with a new cotter pin (3)

Adjust command arm (9) in brake adjuster (10)

Check and adjust the end play of brake camshaft (11)

Install the brake drum

Regulate the spring relief screw of the parking brake combined cylinder

 Maintain the working pressure in the system lo loosen the combined cylinder relief screw.
