Remove/install

 Danger!

Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury caused by brake fluid coming into contact with skin and eyes.

Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.

Remove rear wheel

 Spherical collar nut

 Pressure plate nut

Remove brake pads

Remove pin (1) from clevis (2) of spring-loaded cylinder (3)

 Installation: Install bolt (1) free of tension. Renew cotter pin and coat with long-life grease.

Remove the banjo bolt (4) of the connection fitting (5) on the brake caliper (6)

 Seal off connection thread in brake caliper (6) with a plug.

 Installation: Replace sealing rings.


