1 | Remove the wheels. | ||
2 | Release the parking brake | On axles with combination cylinders, charge the pneumatic system. | |
3 | Unscrew the relief bolt (4) of the spring force accumulator. | On axles with combination cylinders. | |
4 | Apply the parking brake | On axles with combination cylinders. | |
5 | Release pressure from the pneumatic system | ||
6 | Remove the compressed air pipe (3). | Installing: Examine the connector assembly. | |

7 | Remove the brake pad wear indicator (5). | ||
8 | Remove the brake pads. | ||
9 | Unscrew the bolts (2) and remove the support with the brake caliper (1). | Only grab the brake caliper from the outside, never place the fingers between the parts. | |
Installing: Replace the bolts (2) and apply the specified tightening torque. | |||

10 | Clean the supporting surface on the shaft | ||
11 | Install in reverse order | ||
12 | Pressurize the pneumatic system | Check for leaks and tightness. |
