3 | Detach catalytic converters from exhaust gas turbochargers and fasten at the side. | ||
4 | Remove heat shields from drive shaft housing (41). | ||
5 | Support drive shaft housing (41) with major assembly mount and support plate. | ||

6 | Fix drive shaft (50) in place with a tensioning strap (A). | Secure drive shaft (50) via side openings (1) of drive shaft housing (41). | |

8 | Remove screws from drive shaft housing (41) on engine housing. | ||
9 | Remove drive shaft housing (41) with drive shaft (50) downward. | Aid of helper required. | |
10 | Detach brackets of exhaust system from drive shaft housing (41). | When replacing the drive shaft housing (41). | |
