To do this, clamp the steering knuckle at the inner bearing seat of the tapered roller bearing (arrows) in a three-jaw chuck. | Test values Determine the difference dimension (a) between the bearing surface and the center of the measuring pin (016). The measuring pin must seat flush in the mounting bore of the steering knuckle. |
