1 | Remove the wheels | ||
2 | Let the vehicle rest on the chassis | ||
3 | Remove the ABS sensor | ||
4 | Remove the compressed air lines (20) from the combined cylinders (19) | With compressed air connection system "VOSS 230". | |
With "VOSS 232" (NG 8, 12) or "SCHÄFER SDF" (NG 6) connection and compressed air system. | |||
Installation: Check the O-Rings, if necessary, replace them. | |||
5 | Remove the link connections from the brake wearing sensor cable | ||
6 | Remove the differential lock connector (9) and remove the compressed air line (8) from the differential lock | ||
7 | Remove the connector from the temperature sensor (10) | ||
8 | Remove transmission shaft | ||
9 | Remove the damper (11) | Shock absorber attachment | |
10 | Remove the bolts (18) from the rear axle support (16)and remove the cables and fastened wiring harness (15) | Compressed-air line holder on the axle | |
11 | Remove the nuts (14) with the washers (13) and remove the torsion bar support (12) | Installation: Replace the self-locking nuts (14). | |

12 | Lower the rear axle until the leaf spring (4) is free | ||
13 | Remove the spring clip (1) and the springs supports (2) | Installation: Replace the spring clips (1) if necessary. | |
14 | Unfasten the rear axle and remove the spring supports (6) from the axle tip | Installation: Lightly grease the central pins housings on the spring supports (6). When lifting the axle, pay attention in order to fit them in their respective housings. | |
15 | Remove the rear axle from underneath the vehicle | ||
16 | Installation in reverse order |
