Removing

Drain front wheel hub (9) oil

Only for model 613.364/365 with VOSE front axle



Front axle wheel hubs - oil change, checking tapered roller bearing

Remove grease from front wheel hub (9)

Front axle wheel hubs - renew grease, check tapered roller bearing

Remove brake disk

 When removing front wheel hub (9) with flange-mounted brake disc (2).

With model 613 with front axle 739.234.

With model 613.364/365 with VOSE front axle

Fix brake disk (2) in place and remove from front wheel hub (9)

When removing front wheel hub (9) without brake disc (2).

The brake pads are put into position in order to fix the brake disc (2) until the front wheel hub (9) is refitted.

Remove hub cap (6) together with seal (5)

Only with model 613 with front axle 739.234.

Remove hub cap (6) together with O-ring

Only for model 613.364/365 with VOSE front axle.

Remove clamp screw (8) of clamp nut (4)

Unscrew clamp nut (4)

Detach thrust plate (3)

Pull off front wheel hub cover (9).

Remove outer tapered roller bearing (10) from front wheel hub (9)

Remove inner tapered roller bearing of front wheel hub (9) and radial sealing ring from steering knuckle (1)

Only for model 613.364/365 with VOSE front axle.



Install

Slide inner tapered roller bearing of front wheel hub (9) and radial sealing ring onto steering knuckle (1)

Only for model 613.364/365 with VOSE front axle.

Pull front wheel hub (9) onto steering knuckle (1)

Adjust wheel bearing play

 The brake pads must be released before adjusting the wheel bearing play.

Place hub cap (6) into position together with gasket (5) and install
