1 | Chock the rear wheels and apply the parking brake | ||
2 | Support the front axle | At this point, support the vehicle on safely placed stands, so as to enable removing the torsion bar. | |
3 | Loosen the fixing screws on the air bellows support (2) and the chassis frame (3), on both sides | ||

4 | Remove the upper struts | ||
5 | Loosen the fixing screws on the strut support (4) and the chassis frame (5), on both sides | .Armrest diagonal to the chassis frame | |

6 | Remove the lower struts (diagonal) | ||
7 | Check the strut for damages and wear | If necessary, replace the strut (1,4). | |
8 | Check the strut bushing conditions | Remove/install elastomer bearing on transverse control arm | |
If necessary, replace the strut bushings. | |||
9 | Install in reverse order | ||
10 | Perform a function check |
