| Remove/install | ||
1 | Loosen the front wheel nuts (65). | Jack up the front axle using a hydraulic jack (66) and support the front axle using tripod stand (67). | |
Support the chassis frame using suitable tripod stand. | |||

2 | Remove the front wheel. | ||
3 | Cut all the cable ties (68) from ABS wheel speed sensor wire. | Installation: Install the tripod stand (67) on both side of front axle and front side chassis side and lower the hydraulic jack (66). | |
4 | Disconnect the front anti-lock braking system (ABS) wheel speed sensor connector (69). | ||
5 | Remove the front brake chamber hose connection (70) from both sides of brake chamber. | Brake chamber hose connection | |
6 | Remove link rod mounting bolt (71) from anti-roll bar. | Link rod mounting bolt | |
7 | Remove anti roll bar (72) from front axle by removing mounting bolts. | Anti-roll bar mounting bolt | |
8 | Remove the drag link split pin (73) from steering arm. | ||
9 | Remove the drag link ball joint mounting nut (74) from the steering arm. | Drag link ball joint mounting bolt | |
10 | Remove the drag link ball joint (83) from the steering arm by using special tool puller. | Puller | |
11 | Remove the front shock absorber down side mounting bolts and nuts (75) from the spring seat. | Position the trolley jack (76) at the center of the front axle and lift slightly to load the suspension. | |

12 | Remove the front leaf spring U-bolt mounting nuts. | U-bolt mounting nuts | |
13 | Remove the front leaf spring U-bolt (78) from the front axle. | ||
14 | Remove the rubber bed (79) from the front leaf spring. | ||
15 | Remove the spring seat (80) on both sides. | Installation: Jack up the front axle and position under the spring with the dowel pins in the front axle are engaged with spring seat with leaf spring. | |
Lower the jack with front axle. | |||
16 | Remove the dowel pin (81) between spring seat and axle beam. | ||
17 | Remove the front axle assembly from the vehicle and place the front axle on special tool front axle stand (82). | Installation: Check the wheel alignment if required and road test the vehicle. | |

18 | Install in the reverse order. | ||

19 | Max cut adjustment/turning angle. | ||
If maximum cut bolt is removed from the steering knuckle, | |||

20 | Inspect the steering wheel for straight ahead position. | ||
