Remove/install the suspension strut

Remove/install



Replace self-locking nuts and bolts.

Remove left front wheel or right front wheel

Remove electrical line (1) from the bracket on the suspension strut (4)

Detach brake hose bracket (2) from suspension strut (4)



Detach connecting rod (3) from spring strut (4)

Unscrew nuts (5) and bolts (6)



Remove paneling on center piece in front of the windshield

Unscrew nuts (7)



Carefully remove suspension strut (4) downwards

 Push transverse control arm on front axle down only as far as required, as otherwise the rubber bushings in the transverse control arm may be damaged.

Do not damage the front CBS, as otherwise it will have to be repaired or replaced.

Install in the reverse order

Check headlamp setting; correct it if necessary
