Drive vehicle over pit or onto a suitable ramp platform

Disconnect electrical connector (1) from transmission cooler (M18)

Remove cable tie of wiring harness (2) from transmission cooler (M18)

Disconnect hydraulic lines (3) from transmission cooler (M18)

Collect transmission oil which runs out in a suitable container.

Remove screws (4) on both sides of transmission cooler (M18)

Lift out transmission cooler (M18) in downward direction

To do so, carefully push the hydraulic lines (3) to one side.

Install in the reverse order

Correct transmission oil level

Transmission 723.332 in model 668.3, 670.3

Check transmission for proper operation and transmission cooler (M18) for leak tightness
