1 | Remove oil pan | ||
2 | Disconnect connector from Kostal socket (3). | ||
3 | Unscrew hexagon bolts (2) from Kostal socket (3) at transmission housing (1). | Installation: insert Kostal socket (3) into recess of transmission housing (1). | |
4 | Disconnect electrical connector of induction-type pulse generator (output) (4) and of retarder resistance (5). | To do this, press in locking element of flat-pin connectors using a small screwdriver and pull out of plug connection. Do not pull on cable. | |
5 | Remove induction-type pulse generator (turbine rotational speed). | Only perform this step when replacing valve body assembly. | |
6 | Pull protective cap (9) off plug for oil level electronics (8) and unplug connector. | Only if oil level electronics are installed. | |
7 | Secure valve body assembly (11) against falling. | The valve body assembly (11) weighs approx. 20 kg. It must be supported securely so that it does not fall and injure your or other people. | |
8 | Loosen torx bolts (10) from valve body assembly (11). | | |
9 | Unscrew torx bolts (10) completely and remove valve body assembly (11). | Ensure that the cable connections are not trapped in the transmission or torn off. Installation: Pay attention to different lengths of torx bolts. Tighten torx bolts (10), starting from the center of the valve body assembly and working outwards. | |
10 | Install in the reverse order |
