Disassemble

Disassemble transmission

Pry gearwheel (1) off countershaft (4)

Pry gearwheel (2) off countershaft (4)

4

Pry gear wheel (3) off the countershaft (4)

Remove circlip (6)

Remove bearing inner race (5)

 Puller

Assemble

7

Heat bearing inner race (5) to max. 80 °C and install

 Install bearing inner race (5) with zero clearance.
Allow the countershaft (4) to cool down.

Install retaining ring (6).

9

Heat gearwheel (3) to max. 180 °C and install

 Readjust the gear wheel (3) with zero clearance immediately after installation using a hydraulic press.
Allow the countershaft (4) to cool down.

Heat gearwheel (2) to max. 180 °C and install

 Readjust the gear wheel (2) with zero axial clearance immediately after installation using a hydraulic press.
Allow the countershaft (4) to cool down.

Heat gearwheel (1) to max. 180 °C and install

 Readjust the gearwheel (1) with zero clearance using a hydraulic press immediately after installation.
Allow the countershaft (4) to cool down.
