3 | Unclip retainer at connecting piece (1) and disconnect hydraulic line (2) | Collect escaping brake fluid. | |
Installation: Install new sealing ring. | |||
4 | Remove drive shaft (3) | | |
5 | Remove flexible exhaust pipe (4) | Installation: Clean the sealing surfaces and check the clamps for wear; replace the clamps if necessary. | |

6 | Remove compressed-air line (5) | ||
7 | Separate connection plug (6) from clutch travel sensor GS (EPS) (B2) | ||
8 | Detach bracket (7) from clutch housing (8) | | |
9 | Remove bolts of clutch housing (8) | Remove bracket (9). | |

10 | Remove clutch housing (8) | Secure all detached brackets to one side. | |
Installation: Clean the contact surfaces on the clutch housing (8) and timing case and check that they are flat; machine the contact surfaces if necessary. Coat the contact surface on the clutch housing (8) with surface sealant. | |||
Installation: Owing to the nickel-plated clutch drive plate and hard-chromium-plated drive shaft, the profile grooves and hub profile do not need to be sprayed with heat-resistant lubricant. Only clean the drive shaft. | |||
