Close shutoff cocks of heating system

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage bottles.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection.

Slacken belt pulley (2) at coolant pump (1)

Remove poly V-belt of coolant pump and generator

Slacken bracket (7) and remove start/stop switch (8)

Remove coolant thermostat housing (4)

Installation: Check control inserts for damage and condition, replace if necessary.

Remove top coolant connection (5)

Installation: Replace gasket.

Remove side coolant connection (6)

Installation: Replace gasket.

Take coolant pump (1) off the crankcase

The coolant pump is attached with
8 bolts.

Installation: Clean sealing surface and replace gasket. Fix gasket in position with a little grease.

Pay attention to the different lengths of the bolts.
