Remove oil filter element



 Remove the oil filter element causes the engine oil to flow out of the oil filter housing. Check the oil filter element for damage and contamination; replace it if necessary.

Remove oil combination sensor (2)

 Bolt, oil combination sensor (temperature, pressure) to oil filter housing

Install in the reverse order

 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Carry out an engine test run

 Pay attention to the oil pressure display here. The oil pressure must be displayed after a few seconds. Do not rev up the engine unless the oil pressure is displayed.
