Danger!

Risk of injury to skin and eyes from scalding from hot coolant which splashes out. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open the cooling system unless the coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and allow the pressure to release. Do not pour coolant into containers for drinks.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothes, and eye protection.

Remove radiator

Detach coolant hoses (1) on engine oil cooler (2)

Unscrew screw plug (3) from engine oil cooler (2) on crankcase (4) and remove screw plug (3)

Engine oil may run out.

Clean sealing surface on screw plug (3).

Remove oil cooler (2)

Observe installed position of engine oil cooler (2).

Clean sealing surfaces.

Replace sealing rings (5).

Install in the reverse order

Checking

Inspect for leaks
