Remove/install

Disconnect battery ground line

Insulate cable terminal of ground lead to prevent unintentional contact between the disconnected ground lead and ground point W16/4

Remove intake pipe (5)

Remove fan shroud (6)

Remove fan wheel (7)

Unbolt fan wheel from the viscous fan clutch

Slacken poly-V belt

Take off cover sleeve (4) and disconnect electric cables (1/2)

Remove alternator screws (3)

Take out alternator (G2)

Install in the reverse sequence

Carry out functional test
