Disassemble/assemble

Make a alignment mark on the front (3) and rear housing (1)

 Pay attention to the alignment marks.

Remove the union bolts (7)

Separate the front structure (4) with the rotor from the rear structure (6) with the stator

 If necessary use a screwdriver carefully (2) as a lever between the front structure (4) and the stator's edge (2).

 Assembly: Position the brushes (14 and 20) in the retracted position and put a pin to keep them in this position. It must be put behind the alternator, in an orifice close to the terminal GRD / B-.

Put an adhesive tape on the inner bearing to avoid damages due to dirt

Check the length of the regulator's carbon brushes

Assemble in reverse order

 Pay attention to he reference marks made in the first step.
