1 Detach heat shield (1), to do so unscrew bolt (2)
2 Disconnect terminal block and fuse box circuit 30 and 61 (X4/10) at body on bottom right at firewall, for this step open cover (3) and unscrew nuts (4, 5).
3 Unlock cover (6) of the right fuse box (F1/1) and remove
Installation: Check rubber seal in cover for damage, replace if required.
4 Disconnect plug (7) from ME control module (N3/10)
5 Release plug (8, 9) and unplug from ME control module (N3/10).
6 Unplug plug (10, 11) from right front SAM control module (N10/7).
7 Take out engine fuse and relay box (K40/8) toward top.
8 Remove rubber seal (12)
9 Slacken tie strap (13).
10 Unclip wiring harness (14) from right fuse box (F1/1) and partition wall.
